I found my first 1829 Spanish 8 Reale in Covington La (60 miles out of New Orleans). I feel truly blessed.

That is gorgeous I really like the Mexican reales. Really cool design Liberty cap and an awesome eagle. That thing is in beautiful shape too you should be thrilled. I would be holding that in my hand all day and then putting it on the nightstand when I go to bed LOL

That Spanish coin is 7 1/2 Reales bigger than the one I found. That is one beautiful coin.
