Finding large nuggets

In the 80s i was very fortunate to meet the old timer that at the time had most of the claims in this rich valley... He knew the old time family in my town that had mined and were still mining in another valley... Interesting person but he required that i find him and ask every day if i could hunt that area.. I guess he kind of took a liking to me as he would laugh and called me the Detective.. He's long gone now but i can really smile when I remember that.. I found some very coarse gold there and i was glad to comply with his wishes... ...... RIP George, you belonged to a tough crowd...
