I was just looking at my past posts and realized it's been since April of 2012 since I posted any results... Still searching some, though not as hard as in past years as work, family, and life's other requirements are keeping me plenty busy as well.

Rather than give a detailed list of every bag/box/etc. that I've searched, I'll just hit the high points.

Cents
---------
261,390 searched
1477 wheat cents (167 of them pre-1941) (90 different varieties)
0 Indian Head Cents or earlier
1224 Canadian (120 pre-1965)

* Best $50 bag had 361 wheat cents (averaging just over 14 per $25 searched)
* Best dates were 1923-S and 1932-D
* Down to 12 left to complete the wheat cent set from CRH as the 1923-S was a new one for me.

Nickels
--------
70,000 searched
10 Buffalo Nickels
19 War Nickels
863 pre-1960 Jefferson (missing 10 from completing the 1938-1959 set this year - 5 of them war nickels)

* 1938-D only semi-key date found

Dimes
--------
112,212 searched
3 Mercury Dimes
117 pre-1965 Roosevelt Dimes
3 Canadian silver dimes

* Best $500 bag had 61 silver dimes.
* Down to 2 left to complete a 1946-1964 set from CRH only (1949-S, 1955) as I knocked off a couple this year.

Quarters
----------
10,000 searched
nothing found

Half Dollars
-------------
2,188 searched
1 Franklin
4 - 40% half dollars

Dollars
---------
10 Eisenhowers

Mixed in with all the above bags were 109 non-Canadian foreign coins + 82 non-Canadianforeign coins picked up in coin machine rejects slots. Of those, 2 of the foreign coins were silver.
Sweden, 25 Ore (1953)
Australia, 3 Pence (1943)

GMAN!!! I took a break from CRHing a few years ago and one thing I always enjoyed reading were your posts. When I came back earlier this year I noticed you hadn't been posting but you were still logging in and active. I'm glad to see you back! You might want to think about changing your screen name to GManimal.

Finding banks with bags is finding a bank with a coin machine that is willing to sell you the bags off it.

In my experience it's hit and miss, mainly miss. Usually you need an account at the bank and even then it depends on that particular branch's rules.

Almost all my coins this year are from one bank's coin machine which minimizes my gas/time expense.
