Finds from one of Gen Sherman's camps

Hello all! I got out yesterday with some friends to a Union campsite that's been hunted hard. Hundreds of bullets have come out of this spot & it's still giving (here & there). I ended up with a Williams cleaner, melted 3 ringer, percussion cap, 2 round balls & some camp lead. My best find was a knapsack J hook, a first for me. I also found an engraved piece of a pocket watch but I left it in a friends car. It was a great day to get out and save some history. Thanks for looking & HH!

It's always challenging to try and scrounge out a few finds from a pounded site, and you were able to come through again. Nice finds!
