Early 1830s home, spacious lavatory installed in the late 30s. I snapped this pic before I demolished it. Beneath the plaster and lathe of this and adjacent rooms, interesting things emerged.
Old newspaper, a hat, some cool slippers. When I washed the hanky, it smelled of the sweetest perfume. The newspaper was rolled into a log, it had fabric around it in the process of being sewn into a shirt sleeve.
