After work today I decided to do a little swinging before I went home .I braught the XLT and the fisher 1270 . I decided to use the fisher and set it to copper and silver only and it did well for me today .I managed $1.01 in glad and a Golden Wedding Co cap and structo Golden Classic emblem and then as I was swinging back to my truck to call it a day I hit a solid signal and dug down 8 inches ,nothing with the pinpointer but still a solid signal with the machine and so I continued to dig and was down about 12 inches and finally got signal with the pinpointer I thought to myself another mason jar lid ? But to my surprize I unearthed this shell casing measuring 1 3/4 of a inch wide and a whopping 5 1/2 inches in length after inspecting the shell catridge it has the letters N N Y and the letters R.P.E and a small picture of a anchor and the letters E E .Any help with Id on the shell would be awesome .So far its the biggiest one ive found ...
