Managed to detect for a few hours before the rain came in.

Usual mixture of finds, one is I think is it is part a dagger scabbard, you can still see the rivet which held it to the leather (?) scabbard. I have tried to date it but it appears to be quite a large date range 12 to 17 century, unless Crusader can help?

hello doug, I've found these objects in the past, the one on the right is a fairly standard chape.

yeap, part of the sword belt fittment, properly 16-17th century. Its 1 of 3 which were rivetted to the leather belt & 3 hooks went into the loops to hold the scabbard.
