Claudia and I decided to head to Galveston, Texas for AM Hunts on 5/22 and 5/23/10. I decided it was time to find some way to help my Garrett Sea Hunter Mark ll stop finding all those rusty nails and junk thingys. It's been fun and interesting diggin' all those junk finds up, but my back is gettin' worn out. (It Sucks To Get Old)
I took one of Claudia's gold rings (that she got from someone before me,in case I lost it and couldn't find it - pretty smart Huh) and buried it in the sand. I then set my Sea Hunter in the Discrete Trash Elimination Mode and scanned the detector over the ring and adjusted the elimination knob till I got a good signal for the ring. I used this setting both days and am very impressed with the results as the pictures will show. I do want to give props and a shout out to Alexander's Metal Detector Shop in South Houston, Texas. I stopped by there Sat morning after our first AM hunt because my detector seemed to be having problems with getting wet. They found a cut in my Earphones cord by the connector where it attaches to the base. They attached a new connector for me on the spot instead of having to send it to Garrett's to get fixed. Great Place and People - Thanks,Thanks,Thanks.

Looks to me like that one is un-opened. Treasure is hard to come by these days. :( I have found several un-opened packages myself, never just an empty wrapper. If you are finding just the empty wrappers, you might try some night hunting. :o :o :o
