back in the schoolyard without Julio-- short 90 minute hunt after a full day visit from Stormy:laughing9:

1ST hit was nice--- but after 10 minutes and 15 inches--- I gave up & filled it back up. guess whatever it is must be 2 feet down.
.... so squishin' & swingin' thru the wet turf.... in da pocket with this--- nicest condition dug Buffy ever at 6"

YUPPP-- another Buffy:laughing7:

got 2 consecutive Buff holes last year in Woodstock, then in Zena, I bagged 2 Buffs in a 7 coin pocket spill (other 5 coins were a GW, 2 Mercs & 2 Rosies---- all silver):hello2:

bein' a not shallow kind of digger--- the last hole of the hunt is another 10 minute excavation-----

"FINIAL---LY-- I see the round green item at a foot down--- thinkin'-- crotal bell??????

no bunky--- I pry this from the clutches of the dense Port Ewen clay---

this day's hunt is now ---- over & dunwit :metaldetector::laughing9::laughing7:

Nice Buffs! Iโ€™ve dug some deep holes for similar large round brass items that sound great. Mine are usually the old brass door handles... congrats!!
