Went to the bank last week to order my first box of halves. I thought I would pick up a few roles of cents while I waited for the box to arrive later in the week. The teller said she had lots of handrolled cents--$58.00 worth. I said I would take them all. She was very happy to say the least and welcomed me back anytime; that is, as long as I did not bring them back. I assured her I would not. This is the same bank I found my first and only 40% halves (1967, 1968, 1969) the week prior from $8.00 loose coins in the drawer.
My humble finds:
Lot of Copper
2 Canadian Cents
4 US Dimes
Wheats 1 Each: 1926, 1928, 1936, 1944, 1948, 1950, 1952
Nothing to write home about, but was I enjoyed it. Hopefully next week I can move up the ladder a bit.
