Not exactly what I had hoped for, need a little tinkering with the design. I'm going to cut that cup off the front of the cover plate, weld on a piece of plate to cover the hole, then mount the flange bearing on the outside. Secondly I'm going to weld a small piece of steel with a lot of 3/32" holes drilled in it inside the cover plate to close off the open exit chute. Running this with water would really be the ideal thing since I'm trying for 75 micron or less as a final output, or rig up a 55 gallon drum to act as a bag house and catch all the dust. Another option is to leave the hole to the exit open, and let the accumulation of crushed debris push itself out.

If you have to do some redesign, move your punch plate and outlet higher up on the drum. The punch plate will never last long on the bottom from the abuse it takes from from the rocks and steel piling up on the bottom.
