Well, to date I have searched a grand total of 10.00 in Halves :P
The last 7.50 was today while I was cashing in some nickels. I asked if she had some, she said I have 5, I said, ok, I will take em. She pulls em out and I see the silver from across the counter! The teller next to her says I have a few too. Ok, I said smiling, I will take em.
So Teller one had 2.50 in halves, all 90%! 4 Bens, and one 64!
Teller two had 5.00 in halves, one 40%!

So this brings my grand total on the island to 6 total halves 5/90%, 1/40%.
I will take it!
Box of 250$ in dimes netted me the 57 rosie. Wish it was more, but, at least not a skunk!

Yer gettin' after 'em

Hit it hard while there. Coin and bills have a way of finding their way into the military banking/exchange system overseas.

I was always surprised to see so many older banknotes/coins that showed up through the finance/exchange system during my deployments to the "sandlands/'ias" (read eastern Europe) places once the PX/finance systems got in place.

Keep an eye out for older bills also ~ they WILL show up where you are.
