It was an old nickel day at the old school. Dug my first Buffalo, 1928...Then just missed another one by 1 year. Yes, a 1939...the first year of Jefferson nickels. Also dug a '46...these were all within a couple of feet of each other. And, of course some clad...(not pictured)
