First Civil War Finds

Ive be detecting for about 5 yrs or so now and finally have my first CW relic. All came from the Resaca Ga area
Any Idea on what the pointed iron object might be?

My guess would be a bayonet scabbard tip, but the Civil War guys can probably nail it down.

We would call it a Scabbard Chape - same difference - not sure on period.
