First Colonial finds...

A fellow Tnet member offered to take me to one of his honey holes to ... As he put it, "cut my teeth on Colonial". He was on and found some nice coins. I managed a number of tent stakes and a nail. Then after a short chat and some tips, up pops 3 musket balls: (2) .495" dia and (1) .350"dia. Buck and balls has he put it. All within 12 inches of each other and about 3" down. A little while later I got a strong hit. And a out pops a large button from 6" under. Tombac he called it, 1.145" dia.

I had a great time and learned a bit. I look forward to hunting with you again!
