well I got my detector, pinpointer, & lesche today. was so excited, I assembled it as soon as I could. got battery for my pp and took my lesche to my yard. I had no idea what I was doing but watched enough videos to kinda wing it. I was only out for 20min before it started raining. this is what I found. lol.
-some sort of metal square sheet.
-smaller piece of similar metal sheet.
-metal chunk with what seems like chrome peeling off.
-old battery.
-2 nails.

I was pretty impressed how this all works and although i found junk, I had fun. now I just need some practice, practice, practice. [emoji3]

The more real estate you cover the more good stuff you'll find. Dig everything until you learn your machine well...

yah I plan on digging everything I can so I can learn as much as I can before venturing out of my yard. gotta learn proper digging and covering up too. I'd rather destroy my yard before I give a bad rep to our community out pubicly

Well I can tell you that you've got the right attitude to be successful. Every target you dig is giving you a bit of information about how your machine works and what it's telling you. And the best way to think about the junk is that it's just getting you closer to the good stuff and it's part of the process. Just enjoy every second of it and do some good research. You'll do great.

Good start. Doesn't matter how long you've been doing it, you'll still dig junk lol. Read everything you can here and ask questions. Youtube has a lot of videos and you will even find some with your detector. Keep at it!

Persistence, patience, and as Abe mentioned, learn what your machine is telling you. Enjoy the anticipation of not knowing what's under the next plug. Do your research for sites and listen to anyone who might give you a lead on a good site. You will find plenty of good stuff. Best of luck and I look forward to reading your posts!

You are off to a good start. It takes a little time to get the hang of it, then you have to practice a lot. The good stuff will show up before you know it. I look forward to your first post with a silver coin in it. Welcome and GL&HH!
