Spent about 2 hours hunting an old homestead that dates to the turn of the century. First time using the 800 and I went at it with the mindset of learning this machine. It was a whole new experience detecting with this and I came away very impressed yesterday. I dug everything and although most was junk, silver and some trade tokens revealed themselves, along with a toasted wheatie that I can barely make the date out as 1939. Washington quarters are 1939 and 1951, Barber is 1915.

Much more to learn about it since I only ran it in Park 1 and made no settings adjustments.

Did I mention I'm impressed with the Nox? ;)

I took it slow and just let it "talk" to me. I have a long history with White's detectors since I started this hobby in the late 80's and my current MXT is no slouch, but I was surprised at the Nox performance. A slight learning curve for me to say the least, although not difficult. I need many more hours with it to unlock the full potential. That unfired bent .22 cartridge surprised me the most. Just eyeballing it, I'm guessing at least 10 inches deep and it hit hard.

Nothing at all wrong with 3 silvers, especially with a new machine.

Congrats! :icon_thumleft: Nice silver! If you thinks it's good now, get the big coil and watch the finds increase!

Very nice first outing. 3 silvers with a new detector, is pretty darn good. You will like that detector.
