first find's with the x-70

Whatup all ! ;D I recently got a minelab extera-70 and today i got to try it out.I searched the yard of a house that was built on an older house site back in the 30's.My first signal was a 1940 wheatback,a little further got a nice old broach that i think may be gold. There are no markings but it looks old and feels heavy.I then found a nice silver and mother of pearl ring. After that i didn't get much other than a couple more wheat's some clad a button and a couple of machbox cars. All in all i think i like my alian soudin minelab. It's going to get some getting used to as I'm used to the fisher cz-20 but then that's what i said about the fisher when i had my Garrett. ;D

Welcome to the Minelab family. I have an Explorer II and my sister has an X-30. I really like their detectors.

Good job on the finds.

Nice broach!

I'm sure it must have gold content, because the pin is still intact.

Way to break in a new machine!

Sousa, that broach could be a "sleeper" and have more value as a period piece of jewelry than the gold that's in it.

Neat find!
