First gold find with my new Whites VX3. Rang up +12 VDI. I'm used to Garrett AT pro where gold shows up in mid 30's to low 50's. Almost didn't dig it, but had seen videos on youtube that showed gold tests for the VX3 coming in that low, so thankfully I did.

It always amazes me that something so large could be lost on top of bark chips, and that no one eyeballs it before it disappears underground. These tot lots sure do give up a lot of good stuff. Congratulations on a terrific find.
