This year I have been re hunting schools that produced 7 to 10 years ago hoping they have filled up a bit again ! This elementary school has lots of soccer play on it by kids and adults . The clad started up right away ! As I went over by the baseball part of the field I got a strong +45 at 2 inches . Almost every time I dig a +45 it's can slaw or a zinc penny . A few of the +45 VDI 'S I have dug were gold , this would be one of the few times :hello2::hello2:.
It is ring #7 for the year and my first GOLD of 2016 !!! :headbang: It's a beautiful 22k gold ring with 5 diamonds stamped 916  . It weighs 7.03 grams . After that I found two more rings , both kids rings . Total clad for 1 1/2 hours was $6.25 .

Incredible looking ring. And for it to be lost and found at an elementary school. I don't think I have ever found any gold at elementary schools around my area of Alabama. Congratulations, really awesome looking ring!

Glen,

Good score on the high carat gold....and true a lot of my gold has been found at sports field attached to schools.

Either the parents or senior league after hours using the fields.

Awesome find. I always wonder if I found a ring like that and if it was missing a diamond or two or the main diamond that I would have to take the dirt in the hole home with me to find the diamond. Im weird I think about that stuff. Great find keep it up

Yep, Gold and elementary schools go hand in hand, or finger to dirt which is better...:laughing7:
