Gang,

I have been waiting for this day and it has come! Unfortunately I do not have the capability to send a pic but it is beautiful as you know. Joining the ranks of the "Gold Scorers" feels great. You know the deal, VDI comes up as 18 but it's on the surface so I don't pass it up and guess what? SCORE!!!! I wonder how many I have passed up by being "digpicky"?

Thanks to all TNet members for the all the info and encouragement.

Great find there. My first gold ring was a mans yellow gold wedding band back in about 1978 I guess. It's a real rush to find a gold ring because it's something you sort of forget about because they are relatively rare finds unless your name is Crackbadger or Natman. I found around 33 rings last year and only one was gold. I already tied that record on gold this year, lol...Hard record to tie huh?, lol... Keep at it because there are so many more gold rings out there than most people realize. Have a good one

Gang,

Sorry for the delay but thanks for replies folks. 3 days later I found a .925 Silver earring with 3 pearls. I won't forget my first gold or my last but will smile about all those between.

Congrats on a great find. And I think you 've made your place in history by coming up with the new MDing term,,,,, "digpicky".
I wish I would have thought of that one.
