I am still shaking from finding this lost ring!
I bought the AT Pro hoping to find my wedding band that I lost in the backyard two years ago! With the prices of a new wedding ring replacement sky high, I tought I had nothing to lose!

So today, I took my new stand for air testing outside and got to know my detector better! After playing with the different settings, I put the ATP to work in the yard and immediately started to get hits!
In Pro Zero Mode I got a hit that was giving me good numbers, shallow depth and a good solid tone!
Using the ProPointer on the grass, prior to digging, I got a solid hit! and there was my long lost Wedding Ring at 1-2" down!

I think getting to know my detector better by doing the air tests really helped!
Of course the Ring was returned to it's owner!:laughing7:
My Wife is going to be very happy!
HH everybody!

You Found it RG!! Does that mean you have to do your wedding vows again with the same woman? :)

Good Job RG!!

Congratulations. You paid for the detector several times over and now you are hooked on the hobby. Who knows what else you will be able to find. HH, Beach Papa

That's kind of a neat and unique return story. Also a pre-planned and successful hunt on the very first day.

Great post, RustyGold!

It is wonderful that you were able to find your wedding band!:hello2:

Great find on your own lost ring! I know 2 people who are happy.

That's cheating if you put it there on your own! ;) Glad you got your ring back! The detector just paid for itself.

That is really cool!! Congrats. It is true that this hobby is addicting. I really love it!!:hello2:

Awesome job :icon_thumright: congrats!

Now that is one gold find that you will never forget. Congratulations!
