First gold today

Found a nice 14k wedding band dated 5/26/ 63 today. Have pics but on cell phone. No back flips or cart wheels. But still pretty excited ! pics added

Oh that's a Fatty !!! Now your going to need a scale that does grams, a loupe, a gold and silver tester kit..um..um.....etc..etc..LOL

Finding gold has got to be one of the most rewarding perks of this hobby. I'm no super duper treasure hunter but I have found 5 pieces of gold, all in the form of jewelry. (beach hunters are laughing at my gold total, I just know it.) I sooooooooooo wish I was closer to the ocean.

I can't remember my first ring, but I'm sure it took me awhile to find it.
