First hunt and first silver of the year

Got out after work thinking it would be warmer but another cold front decided to start coming in. I have nowhere new or good to go so I hit a local church that I havent been to much. A little clad, 4 wheats and 1929 merc I did so well last year with 94 silvers but I have cleaned out the few local public places last year so this was a welcomed surprise. Ill be happy with a silver or two per month this year

Thanks. Ive used the Deus everywhere. Im not a fan of digging in strangers yards so Im gonna keep hitting old sites and try to find some good farm fields for the spring and fall. Im also hopping to get back to doing more boating and fishing this year. In the past two years Ive devoted almost all of my free time to dirt fishing. The fish replenish the silver does not

I hunt anywhere in a 50 mile radius from my house and will be looking for more obscure sites within this radius during the winter freeze. Good Luck on your fishing. Hope you don't abandon the Tnet family.

Yes its always an added bonus to find an earlier merc in decent shape

Nice hunting, the kicker about finding so much silver is the next year it gets harder and harder to beat. Great job rescuing another few from a dirt grave

Got out today for a couple of hours and had the same day as you, 4 wheats and a Merc (1920). Nice to get the first silver out of the way.

I hear you about cleaning out your silver last year. The kid and I had that problem last year due to killing it in 2015.
