Bounty hunter: Sharp Shooter 2
Here are my finds from my first hunt, my wife bought me a bounty hunter sharpshooter 2, needless to say I am hooked. The only problem is I am stuck in Korea. The only time I get to hunt, I have to hunt on Base and all I have been finding is M4 blanks aka: pulltabs, these things are driving me crazy, they are everywhere, (go figure) They have a high tone so each time a dig, I think it will be something good but it isn't. The interesting things I found were the three shells .50 caliber rounds from the Korean war, they all were about a 10 inches down very exciting stuff. The granade was 6 inches down when I noticed what it was I stopped and backed away, lucky for me it was just a training granede (no fuse). I found some american and Korean clad. I'm just trying to get use to my machine. I can wait to get back to the states, hopefully my wife will let me get some hunting time in, at least once a month. I'm going this Saturday to a isolated location on base. I'll keep everyone posted. I just wanted to say by the way, THIS SIGHT IS AWESOME!!!!!!, I can't get enough of it. Anyways thanks for reading, everyone be safe out there.

Welcome from the UK.

I think your wife will be disappointed if she thinks your only do it once a month :D

Happy Hunting

Welcome B@kun to T-Net:

This is a very addicting hobby and when the weather permits I go out every chance I can get. You will find this to be a great site to help you on almost anything. Look forward to seeing all those great finds that you will be posting.

your hooked now, wait till you get something good.then when you get back home you will take it everywhere.your wife will wonder why you take your detector to the grocerystore, take the kids to the park ragularly-you can m-d and watch them at the same time! ;)

maybe you'll find a 1,000 year old kimchi pot. the koreans used to bury cabbage in pots to let it ferment slowly. turns out like sauer kraut. glad to hear you enjoy the site as much as I do. you just never know what someone is going to dig up next.

Welcome to the forum. Nice finds.

Big welcome from Minot AFB. This place is colder then the planet Pluto. I think there were some other guys in Korea looking for hunting partners under the clubs section. Good luck and be careful.

b@kun,

Welcome to the hobby, Looks like you will have time to hone your skills, before returning to the states. I had hunted as a kid,but when I was in Europe I was not back in the hobby, regret that now. That BH is a nice first time machine. I have the same one that I use for a back up if needed. But spent a few years digging tons of nice things with it.Nice digs. Is that a practice grenade?

Welcome to TNet B@kun, you're right, this is a great site. Did you have to call EOD??? Hope not, I wouldn't want to wait that long...lol
