The strap buckle doesn't look military to me, unless off something like webbing. Looks early 1900s.

Shame the silver is so slick, wonder what it was.

Great button. I'm with Cru wishing the coin wasn't so slick, but when you feel Spanish silver you just know it. So I'm sure it is! Cheers
