Hunted two different spots yesterday. Both were in the vicinity of early 20th century seafood factories.
Was near the areas where workers would have lived and passed through.
Was hoping to dig some tokens, and ended up with several good ones.
4 more D. L. & D's. Found my first two a few months ago. Circa 1914'ish.
1 G.P.T. CO. It looks like a slick penny that was counter-struck. I'm thinking it might be a local. The closest thing I have found to be a match is George Terry and Sons Oyster packing. This was a small operation compared to many of the other local factories.
1 really pitted Baldwin Lumber Co. Ltd Good for $1.00 in 1920 token. I wish it were in better shape. If someone has a copy of Trantows Lumber Token Catalog, please look this one up for me.
And last is a Southbend Bait and Tackle Co. Good luck fishing token. Probably not real old, and not what I was looking for, but still neat.

BP - I just remember that there is a newer edition of the Trantow Lumber token book than I have. Your token is not in my first edition. A 5¢ one is in the Crawford & Farber LA book - I assume you have that book?

Thanks for looking in Trantows for me. I saw a listing online for the .05 one, and they said it was a R10. Couldn't find anything on the $1.00 one.
Tokencatalog also has a listing of the .05 one.
I will have to check out the Crawford and Farber book. I only have Chathams Mississippi book.
Thanks.
