Went detecting this morning with my brother and nephew for the first time this year in the woods of Northern Virginia. Found a horseshoe (possible civil war) and as usual a shotgun shell. Not civil war. My brother is going to put the horseshoe into his cleaning machine and get all the rust out and make it look brand new. I can put it on my wall and it will bring me good luck.
