Settings are in video but I ran in zero discrimination mode just like I always did with Atpro. I was able to run full sensitivity at 8/8. Ground balance at around 85-87 most areas. Iron volume all the way up so everyone could hear it well. I compared signals with Equinox to get a sense of how it IDs targets and also test the overall depth. I also ran it through my test coin garden and nail board in video Keep in mind the equinox is in a higher price point and has a larger round coil which effects depth some. Apex is very similar to Atpro in many ways. Like adding back light and multi frequency to an Atpro. It seems to ID junk metal and nails better than equinox. The depth of Apex is a little dissappointing in my soil but a different coil option in future might help with that. My initial thoughts are the Apex is a good machine in this price point. I plan to do a lot more testing so stay tuned!
