Thanks to SecondStar Hobbies, this coin was brought back to life! This was an easy dig, about 3 inches down. Sounded decent around an 89-90 on my XP ORX.

Congratulations on your first Indian Head penny! The ground was a little brutal to it, but as a first it is a beauty! I found my first IH in my front yard with my first detector on my initial try with it! First one is always a thrill! Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations! :icon_thumright:
My first was when we were visiting relatives in Connecticut,
and it took me quite awhile to finally see the date, as it was
real crusty...! A real thrill, huh?
