I found my first merc today and it was my first hit of the day. This beautiful 1943 dime was about 4 inches down on the bank. Another foot of erosion this bad boy would have been lost to the creek. I was hunting around Elkhorn Creek in Georgetown. Found a lot of clad also. Since the rain yesterday the ground was in my favor. Happy hunting all.

Nice,
I will be in Georgetown again. My wife works the afternoon I think and my inlaws live there so I go quite often. Maybe we can link up one day.
