I am not a Bounty Hunter fan. For $300.00 you can get a MUCH better machine. A Fisher F2; Garrett Ace 250; Tesoro Compadre.. You'll also need headphones ($50) a good hand digger like a Lesche ($40), kneepads, gloves and a finds bag. Do some more research and DO NOT rush into it! Good Luck!

willybe, I started using the BH Tracker IV about 18 yrs ago. In fact, my son still takes it out from time to time. If this is going to be your first machine, I think I would go with the Ace. It is a pretty good machine and not going to break the bank. The main thing is not to get discouraged. Just be patient and have fun. GL on your choice.

yup... have been looking around reading reviews, watching videos, and i have decided to go with the Gerrett ace 250

thanks for the help, hope fully it will be here before next weekend.
