Got $248 in CWR nickels from my favorite bank yesterday (man, they were heavy....). Here is the take:

5 war nickels
1 1935 Buffalo
about 30 pre-1960 with no key dates...

Also scored about 15 dimes in the rolls (strange) and three pennies. There were a few short rolls, but there were also quite a few with up to 44 in a roll. Also, the rolls with bonus dimes still had 40 nics... I'll take it.

That is a good average for 2 and a half boxes of nickels. HH

nice score on the nics. And that's great to find 5 silver when there was only 30 other pre-'60's. And yeah, I would imagine ~ 2 1/2 boxes of nics would be heavy. I usually only get 1 (sometimes 2) boxes of nics at a time and they are weighty indeed. I've sure noticed this even more since I've been searching more dime boxes lately - 2 dime boxes are lighter than 1 nickel box.
