First of the year, One little Indian

It is so warm today I just had to get out. I decided to do the woods road behind my house. They logged and dug sandstone and used these roads for well over 150 years. Did not expect to find anything at all. But, got a penny signal 8 to 10 inches. Had a heck of a time finding it. Lots of roots. But turned out to be an 1888 Indian Head penny. Not much by most people standards, but I love to find them. there are miles of these roads and I am going to hunt them more ofter as soon as hunting season is over.
