Coins that date earlier than 1799 :)

I passed that milestone in November 2003, hard to believe I did that before getting my 100th Large Cent... That will be this year for sure.

Well, found #1 in 1979 by accident while bow hunting :), but did not get serious about looking for oldies till 1985 Overall, roughly 18 years of hunting, and all were found within 30 miles of my home. All my old coins, not just those first one hundred. :)

That's a great collection. 18 years doesn't sound bad considering the number and age of these coins. WTG.

WOW. Impressive collection. I like how they are in the flips and typed up. Looks like at a coin show. ;D

Kinda wish I had gotten involve in the hobby earlier. I know I missed a lot of good opportunities.

Don,

I am severely impressed ( depressed ) . I am impressed at your finds, depressed that my count on pre 1799 coins is 2 (sad).. wish you good luck on your 100 large cents and your next 100 pre 1799 coins.

Re: First One Hundred

Sure is nice Bob! Have you looked into values and to how much the entire collection is worth? Not looking to buy, but others, like myself might just like to hear it. 8)
