I have been a metal detectorist for years and years, but have never found an arrow head.......until now.
While talking to my wife, I mentioned that I thought it was odd that I had never found an arrow head while metal detecting, odd considering I keep my eyes to the ground and detect in prime area's. So I made it a point to go out looking for points on this past friday, and found the tool (atleast I think its a tool, the one on the right). On Sat I went back out to the same place and found the point on the left, it appears the bottom of it was broken off. I found both of these on the Blanchard River in NW Ohio. Thanks for looking and thanks for any information you may be able to provide. HH.....Bill

Yep ! Artifacts. Material looks like black Upper Mercer (Coshocton).

With the base broken off, there's not much way to identify the specific type.

Now go find more :laughing7:

Thats what I like going after something and getting it. I have heard your state is good for artifacts I :dontknow: . You did good in finding some tools on your trips. They are much older than a metal detecting
find. Thanks for sharing them sir.
