Took off at 6:00 this morning to hit a few spots. One being a 1890's home, a demolished early 1900's mercantile store, the local park and a 1830's to 1870's community that we were told by word of mouth from the old timers, was on the land my father in law hunted (turned out we couldn't find it). My best find all day was my second wheat penny. Other than that, it was mostly clad and pull tabs. I was expecting at least one silver, but I guess that's just how it goes sometimes. Plus I don't have the best detector yet. I still had a great time and really that's all that matters. I was curious if anyone knows anything about that one token as well. Thanks and God bless! You're just scratching the surface of a site that old. Keep at it! I know there are goodies in a site of that era.
