first ring, and its silver

I was metal detecting with my father, earthworks, and i get a great signal on my fisher 1265-x, after some careful digging, I pulled out a beautiful silver ring with what looked like two dark rocks on top. When we got home, we cleaned it up and found the rocks to be a dark blue color, probably onyx. This is my first ring and the first silver anything I've dug up from the ground.

Nice ring find. Ive found several silver rings and they make a wonderful sound but mine are all quite thin. I bet that big fat ring really rang out.

Nice find, love your ring. The good old Fisher 1265 strikes again. It is one sweet machine, I found lots of neat items with a 1265, I suppose you know to listen for the really weak and steady signals, they are usually deep and good items.
