What do you think?....
Had a couple of hours this morning to do some detecting in the yard. Since it's my yard, I figure nothings going anywhere till I find it, so usually I just wander around, with no rhyme or reason, daydreaming and enjoying the outdoors.. My finds consisted of 6 cents and some rusty nails and a few scraps of metal...after my hunt, I put the coins in peroxide just long enough so I could make out the dates, 2 memorials, and 4 wheaties- 1946, 1945, 1938 and my oldest so far a 1936.....
So I’m a happy guy, right?…wrong… looking at the back of the 1936, I see this-
I set a dime on the outline and it matches up quite nicely. Went to a cookout this afternoon, and spent most of the time mumbling to myself ….recheck the hole, recheck the hole.. Had to laugh though, when I thought of SWR’s line - found it, but didn't dig it up….I'll be back out soon, trying to find it…..again
