So since it was warmer today I decided to go out and see if I could find anything, stopped at this house that I thought was abandoned searched for a while found some clad and then this crazy looking guy came outside and asked me if I knew that this is private property.. I told him I thought the place was abandoned and that I was sorry for being on the property, he said it was fine that he was just remodeling the place anyways and granted me permission to search the property :-) ended up finding about $5 in clad 2 old locks " 1 being a B & O railroad company lock" and found my first silver quarter a 1929 s Standing Liberty... I was extra excited! And he told me he had another place I could cheak... this was my first residential hunt :-)

Congrats on your first SLQ. It's in real nice condition with a strong date. That's always been one of my favorite coins. WTG!

I think that the old rural houses are the best places to find silver. The ones I search out in the woods haven't produced too much for me. It's almost like they were more careful with their money. Or maybe all the places were already hunted :). Nice finds.
