First Silver

Well it took five weeks but I shirked my silver virginity this morning. Went out to a now unused ball field where I grew up. Ended up with nearly 3.00 in clad, 3 wheats, and a 1941 quarter. Found at 8" with a DFX using a 5" Excelerator coil and a modified "Coin" program.

That's awesome, I'm thinking more and more about getting the DFX... certainly no shortage of finds being made with them.

Nice Washington, my first silver was a silver Washington as well. Found it my first day though, and because of that it didn't really hit me how much more work it takes to do that everytime you hunt.

Good job.
