Well here in Michigan it's to hot to hunt so the wife and I went to find a new spot to detect. We were going through an old town when we saw a nice grassy strip on a public parkway. After popping some new clad I got a Wheatie, 1950. Told the wife that we were in an area old enough for silver. A while later I popped what I thought was a big token. I gave it a light brushing and saw it was a 1959 peso. I put it away and when I got home to research it I found it to be silver as I suspected it to be. Here it is all cleaned up. Even has writing around the rim. Pretty cool.
