The ground is still rock hard in a LOT of spots, but we hit the side of a hill where the snow had thawed in a lot of spots. I found a 1943 War Nickle and a few clad coins...My Buddy Kevin found a Mercury Dime and a few clad coins...Not a bad start for the year...
Good start. Started my year with a war nic also, and found another Thursday. What I usually find in war nics around here is that they don't come out "clean" like yours looks. Mine usually have some kind of corrosion or such, often black. What's the norm for war nics in your soil? Just curious.
