im on the way to the beaches in fla.

me and the hh pirate are gonna try

first satwater hunt. since im new at this

i was wondering if anyone could supply

a site to try on fla w coast .holiday to naples

that would be especially gentle waves.

ive gotten pretty good at recovering targets

in fresh water. but know the surf will be

much different. looking for an area that

would be gentler waves for nooB. I DONT

care that it be a highly productive area. just s
somewhere to practice.

Right now the water is choppy and cold but give it a try anyway. Any of the beaches are good. You just have to run your coil over the target to find it! A lot of hunters at Clearwater beach and actually at the other beaches too. Watch out for undertows! Since you are not familar with hunting in the gulf I suggest you don't get in too deep till you are more familar with what you are doing. Good luck

Oh yes and if you have a wet suit - wear it! It's cold in the water!

waist deep if a big wave catches you.

in freshwater i use my feet alot to helpme

feel where to dig.

Don't go barefoot! I wear dive boots but you can pick up some beach shoes at any Walmart. I even bought a pair at Sweetbay (grocery store) for 4 bucks. I don't know if they still have them or only sell them in the Summer. But don't go barefoot!

this week is gonna be cold, water is 60 degrees and will prob drop another 3 or 5 over the week. Waves are based on the fronts coming thru. air temps are gonna range in the 60s, with a north wind. You just missed the blue moon low tides.

good luck.
