First off the ace 250 has performed admirably at my beach. It does fine in dry sand so if you have large areas of dry sand to hunt IMO your good to go with this detector. My primary hunting grounds.

As you can see there are plenty of people there on a daily basis to keep it stocked with at least clad.

Nothing spectacular so far. Mostly coins. I included about half the trash that fooled this detector and the quarter count is not represented in total. Many got used to buy bottles of cold water for the ride home. The broken junk watch was probably discarded on purpose and was nearly a surface find. total hunt time is probably somewhere around 7 hours so far.

Pretty good beach finds. Sooner or later I expect to see you posting some great looking rings and stuff.

Way to go Murph! I'm glad to know the Ace does well on dry sand.
i"ve been puttin off goin to the beach cause of the rep that the Ace has
with water and wet sand.

I spent a week at the beach using the Ace 250 in dry sand and definately no problems!! Congrats on some good finds!!
