WooHoo, I'm finally on the board with my first wheatie...with all the pennies I've pulled up I thought I'd have several by now. Anyway, got $3.28 in clad, matchbox car and a sterling silver ring. One of these days I'll be able to post pics. Dan

Funny thing is I've hit several sites that I just knew would produce old coins but haven't been successful (yet), then I find this one in my own front yard.
I guess it's kinda like when guys go camping around a lake, you hop in your boat and go over to the other side of the lake to fish while at the same time those camping over there have come to your side....if you know what I mean.

I love to find wheaties. As you know, it has been 47 years since the last wheatear cent was made (1958), so, consequently most of the lost ones are fairly deep by now. Keep digging, you have more good finds coming.
