Saw this thread long ago, but all my fishing pics were on another
hard drive...finally got some transferred.

My late father with his first and only Steelhead. I can still
remember the battle...that was 17 lb. of pissed off Steelhead!

Next is my Dad and me with a 42 lb. King salmon I caught in the
legendary Hoh River:

Last (for now) is a monster of a Dolly Varden trout fresh
out of the Skagit River:

So this is what Mike (aka Dizz) looks like! Nice to meet you and your dad! Awesome fish!

Oh yeah! Lure him over to your end of the country! But be careful. I do recall Jeff-Gordon romanticizing about being under the same moon as you!

Those are very nice Chinook salmon. No wonder they call them king.

I meant what I said wrightdigger. Thank you for all your contributions to this thread. Welcome back. By the way we had such a good day yesterday that my boss canceled the flight home and is staying a couple more days. I hope to get some pictures of the 5 mutton snappers, 3 king fish, one sailfish, 3 groupers, and a pork fish. Also got 2 sharks. I cant fit another pic on my phone. Gonna have to send some to the cloud.

Awww. Thank you. I guess I can forgive the facetiousness. :laughing7:
That's a lot of fish. They don't reel in as fast as walleye do.
What's a pork fish? Here I go to Google again.:tongue3:

Growing up in Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, my friends and I took up fishing at an early age. One summer, my fishing buddies and I decided to take a fly-in Canadian fishing trip. The plan was to drive into Canada to an outfitters and fly-in to a remote lake for five days of fishing on a pristine lake where you don't see another person. Pretty much paradise for any seasoned fisherman.

After crossing the Canadian border, we noticed this large billboard sign that said, "Drink Canada Dry"! I looked at my buddies and said, "Guys, I don't think that's going to be possible. We're not going to be here long enough to do that"!

of course you did learn its a brand of ginger ale in the north/lol

Are you saying that there’s a “pork fish “ ginger ale? I know Canada Dry is a ginger ale.
You’re talking to a blonde here, and I’m getting confused! 9A5412B5-5867-4A14-A620-D69CBDE7837D.gif
