Ey everyone. Just got this coil yesterday and noticed some stability issues with it. Seems like it runs very hot. Had to turn my sens down to 50 and thresh to -3 before it became mostly stable. Has anyone else run into this problem with this detector? When I bought the f5 it came with the standard 10" elliptical coil. Could there be some fine tuning somewhere that needs to be done? Already checked the standard stuff, screwed in tight, cord not hitting against the shaft etc. it was able to see targets and report them mostly correctly although a quarter on the surface was hitting at 90 instead of 80 to 85. Really wanting to find out what's going on. Thanks for the assist
