So I know it's not exactly a "garage sale" find, but I feel like it warrants a thread. I have been looking at getting a better detector ever since I found my Tesoro Cutlass at a thrift shop for $10. So I've been combing over Craigslist for a few weeks now keeping an eye out for not just a good deal, but an AMAZING deal on something better. I found it last night. An advertisement for a Fisher Gold Bug Pro. That's all it said. Upon sending me images I realized it was the Gold Bug Pro DP, which I guess is a more specialized version of the GB Pro that works well with coins/relics too. Exactly what I needed as I have yet to go nugget-shooting. Just mainly searching parks for coins/jewelry. He was only asking $300! To top off the amazing deal when I went to pick it up I realized he had purchased it from KellyCo so there are all sorts of great freebies that came along with it including a pinpointer! I'm so excited and can't wait to try it out!
