100_4203.jpg 100_4204.jpg 100_4205.jpg 100_4208.jpg Found little flake point Thursday. It is uniface and has very little pressure work done to it but I really think it is a very old point even paleo. I don't usually post broken points but this gray point was a Kirk Corner Notched point I think and it is .271" Thick by 1.360" wide a really good width to thickness ratio, would have been killer if whole. The side vie is the side view of broke point, not flake point.

This Point is from New Mexico and I have been told it's a Lott Point and very rare in perfect condition like this example because they so thin and fragile. This one is made on a very thin curved flake. You can see from the pics that they just basically flaked around the edge of the flake to form the serrated edge and the base. This was a gift from a good man for the Secret Santa I run on another site.
